Mindfulness and self-concept are like two sides of the same coin, each strengthening the other.

A core aspect of mindfulness is being aware of your thoughts, feelings, and bodily sensations without judgment.

Having a strong self-concept allows you to identify your values, strengths, and weaknesses with greater clarity.

positive self-concept fosters self-compassion, allowing you to be kind to yourself when negative thoughts or emotions arise

15. Cleaning your space

Mindful cleaning encourages you to be fully present in the here and now. Instead of rushing through the task with your mind elsewhere, focus on the physical sensations of cleaning.

Feel the texture of the cleaning cloth in your hand, smell the fresh scent of cleaning products, and listen to the sounds of wiping, sweeping, or vacuuming.

As you clean, take a moment to appreciate the space you inhabit. Cleaning can be a form of self-care, creating a clean and organized environment that fosters well-being.

16. 5-Sense Focus:

Find a quiet place to sit or lie down comfortably. Close your eyes and focus on your sense of smell. What scents can you detect?

Next, shift your focus to your sense of hearing. What sounds do you notice? Pay attention to the loud and the soft sounds, the near and the far.

Then, focus on your sense of touch. Feel the fabric of your clothing against your skin, or the way your hair rests on your head.

Now, focus on your sense of taste. Can you taste anything in your mouth? Finally, focus on your sense of sight.

Open your eyes and take in all the details around you, without judgment.

17. Body Scan Meditation

Lie down on your back in a comfortable position. Close your eyes and focus on your breath. Slowly scan your body, from head to toe, and notice any sensations that arise.

Don’t judge the sensations, just observe them.
