While we put a lot of focus on keeping kids away from the screen, we don’t realize that we do need to be as away as them.

For many of us, our work revolves around the screen, and we don’t realize that we end up spending so much time online on the screen

Apart from that., when it comes to doing anything, we instantly look at our phones.

I know this because I have become a victim of the screen.

Whether it is working out, dancing, playing, watching a show

I tend to use my phone or laptop to do it all

Using the screen so much is pushing us away from the real world more and we feel so much more dependent on the screen.

Hence, a few days back, I searched for workshops I could join physically and don’t have to indulge in them using my phone or laptop.

Honestly, I was shocked that there were mostly workshops now being held online more than offline!

The world is turning more and more into virtual reality…

Somehow I managed to find a few activities that we can do without a screen at home or even outside by attending workshops and engaging in an offline world!

Honestly, dancing is one activity that you can do without a screen, you just need music and follow your rhythm.

Dancing has so many benefits and has proven to keep you younger and increase your confidence and get comfortable in your own body

Even if you do take tutorials online, you would need to engage more by yourself in doing rather than looking at the screen more.

I would definitely say that joining an offline class is 10x times better, you learn better, engage and learn with people! It is much more fun

There are many one-day weekend workshops you could join to see if you like the vibe and then sign up for regular classes that happen 2-3times in a week

You could take inspiration from the tutorial and then go in front of a mirror to practice dancing and create your own moves.

This can be done at home using a minimal screen!

2. Reading

Most of us, in our evening time engage in tv or Netflix to relax and wind down, don’t we?

A better activity we can indulge in instead is hands down, Reading!
